By accessing our Site and engaging our services, you hereby agree that you have read and agreed to be legally bounded by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, please leave the site immediately.

Masons Home Décor Pte. Ltd. may at any time amend these Terms and Conditions by updating on the site. Any user of the site is deemed to accept any changes of the Terms and Conditions at any point of time. If you do not agree to any amendments made now or in future, please leave the site immediately.

Site

a. The site is owned and maintained by Masons Home Décor Pte. Ltd.

b. Masons Home Décor operates a furniture business specialising the supply, assembly, and delivery of furniture and the supply of home decor products.

c. Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to change, modify, suspend or discontinue the whole or any portion of the Site at any time. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or the entire Site without notice or liability.

2. Licence

a. Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Site, and access and use all services available via the Site, subject to the terms set out in these terms and conditions that you are reading.

b. You agree not to reproduce, copy, modify, adapt, translate, publish, display, communicate, transmit, broadcast, distribute, sell, trade, exploit or use for any commercial or other purposes, any portion of:

ii. the Site;
iii. any materials, information, news, advertisements, listings, pricing, data, input, text, songs, audio, video, pictures, graphics, software, blogs, forums, message boards, broadcasts, comments, suggestions, ideas and other content, that is made available on or via the Site, except, to the extent permitted, with the prior written consent of Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. or unless expressly permitted in these terms and conditions.

c. You agree not to reproduce, display or otherwise provide access to the Site, for example through framing, mirroring, linking, spidering, scraping or any other technological means (including any technology available in the future), without the prior written permission of Masons Home Decor Pte, Ltd.

d. The Site and all content are the copyrighted work of Masons Hoe Decor and we reserve the rights to retain all rights in the Site.

e. You may not decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Site or any content, except under the specific circumstances expressly permitted by law or Masons Home Décor Pte. Ltd. in writing.

f. You may not hack into, interfere with, disrupt, disable, over-burden or otherwise impair the proper working of the Site or our servers, which shall include but is not limited to denial-of-service attacks, spoof attacks, session hacking, sniffing, tampering, spamming, reverse engineering or reprogramming.

3. Delivery, Orders, Pricing & Payments

• Delivery

Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. delivers to most areas in Singapore except for Tuas, Jurong Island, Army Camps, Changi Airport, and Sentosa Island. Such locations require a 40 SGD surcharge. You may check with us should you have a requirement for delivery to the above mentioned restricted zones.

• Orders

All orders made by you, the customer, are subject to the acceptance by Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. A processed payment shall not be an indication that an order has been accepted by Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability or other reasons by providing a full refund without reason. All orders made will be responded with via e-mail to confirm with the customer that the order has been accepted through the notification of the orders delivery date.

By placing your order, you authorise us to transmit information or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time and this may include verification checks involving your debit or credit card number or credit reports in order to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation, to protect you and us from fraud, and to enable us to arrange delivery of your order to your nominated delivery address.

4. Promotions and Programmes

Masons Home Decor Pte Ltd may run promotions or programmes from time to time. These may be in the form of coupon codes or contests that result in a winner. We reserve the right to cancel a promotion, coupon code, or programme at any given time without notice or liability

5. Deliveries

Delivery slots are subject to the earliest availability. Each product in the Site states the earliest date of delivery. The actual date of delivery may be out of its range especially during peak seasons such as Hari Raya, Christmas, or Chinese New Year.

Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. will inform you your delivery date and time slot within 48 working hours from your purchase. We will try our best to deliver your item within the stipulated time frame but we do not guarantee that the delivery will occur within the time frame due to unpredictable traffic conditions and unknown circumstantial happenings at each delivery location.

Deliveries by Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. are outsourced to reliable third party logistic partners. Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. will not be held liable for late deliveries. However, we will try our very best to inform you should there be any delay.

Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to change your delivery date upon your consent up to 24 hours before the time of your delivery.

Customers are to ensure that their purchase can fit into all elevators and entry ways that the delivery men will encounter while performing the delivery. Customers are to inform Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. before placing an order should they realise that the dimensions of the product will be bigger than that of the elevator or their entry ways. We will then prevent facing unnecessary obstacles by performing on site assembly. The delivery men are only required to perform door step delivery, but may in their own good will carry the item to the specific location of the premises of the customer, as instructed by the customer. Customers are to note that the delivery personnel have the right to cancel the delivery on the behalf of Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. should they feel that their safety would be jeopardised or the punctuality of their oncoming deliveries will be jeopardised as a result of a current obstacle to delivery. Should an obstacle be faced, here are the 3 options a customer has:

• We mark this order as a cancelled order. We will refund you your order less 50 SGD. Therefore, if your order is 200 SGD, we will refund you only 150 SGD. If your order is less than 50 SGD, you will not be refunded.
• Negotiate directly with the drivers if they wish to dismantle the goods, bring it to your space, and assemble it again. This process usually takes 2 to 3 hours and the drivers have the right to decline your offer. Should they accept the offer, please negotiate directly with them for a suitable monetary compensation.
• RECOMMENDED: We leave it at the nearest accessible place while the customer makes his or her own arrangements

Please note that there is a charge of 20 SGD per flight of stairs should our driver be required to carry your order up the stairs. For example, if there is 2 flight of stairs from the first storey to the second, it would cost you 40 SGD.

Our delivery time for all furniture is before 6 pm . For other smaller items, you may select the time slots of 10 am to 5 pm, 5 pm to 10 pm, or 10 am to 10 pm. Please read below for the shipping rates for the previously mentioned time slots. We provide deliveries on all days except Sundays and Public Holidays.

6. Returns Policy, the Definition of Defects, and Warranty

Customers are allowed to return the purchases for a partial or full refund taking into account the following conditions.

Customers must notify Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. via e-mail, live chat (Site homepage – furniture.mason.com.sg), what’s app, or Facebook Messenger, within 1 day of the purchase.

For goods without defects: 

Customers who wish to arrange for a return of goods without defects will have to be liable for a pick up fee. The standard pick up fee is 50 SGD for all furniture and 150 SGD for bed frames regardless of size. You will then be refunded the difference after the product has reached the premises of Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. and has passed the routine inspection process. Therefore, the refund will be [cost paid for purchase] minus [pick up fee determined upon return request].

For exchanges: 

Should you wish to exchange your item for another, a fee will be charged based on the product for the round trip. Do inquire with us beforehand.

For goods with defects:

Customers will receive an exchange or a full refund for their item without having to pay a fee for the pick up. Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to perform a full refund and picking up the furniture from the customers premises without having to find a replacement.

Please note that the term ‘defects’ equate only to products with visible scratches or damages. For example, colour variations, blemishes, indentations on the surface, or tiny dents on the surface of a natural oak table top is not to be deemed as a defect, but as a natural characteristic of natural oak. Likewise, a sofa that is too hard or too soft for your liking is a characteristic of the sofa and not a defect, despite the fact that you may dislike its softness. Likewise, an office chair that does not roll as fast as you would have expected is not a defect.

Likewise, a particle board furniture that has minor dents or peeling laminate is a natural characteristic of an entry level budgeted furniture and is not liable for returns. A tv console with an unprocessed rough backboard, or a coffee table with an unprocessed underside, is also not a defect. For such cases mentioned, we may mail to you super glue or sandpaper as part of a service. Please view the furniture first if you have to.

Warranty

Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. covers a limited warranty for all solid wood furniture up to 15 years and MDF up to 12 months. This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover wear and tear, damage through improper usage, staining, scratches, and discolouration. Particle board and other engineered wood furniture are not covered by warranty at all.

7. Intellectual Property

The copyright, patents, trade marks, registered designs and all intellectual property rights in the Site and all Content shall vest in and remain with Masons Home Décor Pte, Ltd.

The trademarks, logos and service marks displayed on this Site are the property of Masons Home Décor Ltd. You are not permitted to use the name of Masons Home Décor including in any advertising or publicity or as a hyperlink, without the prior written consent of Masons Home Décor or such third party.

The domain name on which the Site is hosted on is the sole property of Masons Home Décor and you may not use or otherwise adopt a similar name for your own use.

8. Comments, Feedback and Other Information

You may provide or submit comments, feedback, suggestions and other content or information so long as the content is not illegal, criminal, immoral, inappropriate, hateful, obscene, defamatory, offensive, violent, abusive, political, religious, infringing or disrespectful in nature, and does not consist of or contain software viruses, solicitation or any form of “spam.” You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of a comment. Masons Home Décor reserves the right (but not the obligation) to review, remove or edit such content.

You hereby grant Masons Home Décor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, publish, display, communicate, transmit, broadcast, distribute and exploit any comments that you provide or publish through or in relation to the Site, for any purpose as Masons Home Decor may require at its sole discretion. You further agree that Masons Home Decor may use and publish your name in connection with such comments.

9. Linked Sites
Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. may provide links, plug-ins, widgets or other connections to other sites that may be of relevance and interest to customers and users of our Site. Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. has no control over, and is not responsible for the content on or obtained through the linked sites or for any damage you may incur including any virus, spyware, malware, worms, errors or damaging material contained in the link sites. You hereby agree to assume all risk arising from the use of the linked sites and hereby irrevocably waive any claim against us with respect to the linked sites.

11. Notification of Infringement

Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to investigate notices of copyright, trademark and other intellectual property infringement in respect of the Site and take appropriate action. If you believe that your work has been used or copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and such infringement is occurring on the Site or Services, please notify Masons Home Decor in writing immediately, containing the information prescribed by the Singapore Copyright Act (Cap. 63) (“Infringement Notice”).

Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. will duly consider all Infringement Notices submitted in the above manner. In return, you agree that you shall not take any legal action or exercise any legal remedy you may have against Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. in respect of any Infringing Material, unless you have first given Masons Home Decor the Infringement Notice and sufficient opportunity to remove the Infringing Material, and thereafter Masons Home Decor Pte. Ltd. refuses or fails to remove the Infringing Material within a reasonable time. Where Masons Home Decor removes the Infringing Material in response to your Infringement Notice, you agree not to exercise and you hereby waive, any right of action against Masons Home Decor under applicable law which you may have in respect of any Infringing Material appearing on the Site prior to such removal by Masons Home Decor.

You acknowledge and agree that Masons Home Decor has no control and cannot undertake responsibility or liability in respect of Infringing Material appearing on or through Linked Sites or other third party sites.
